At the 24-hour race at Bilster Berg, the focus is on solo and team classifications on a closed race circuit. What matters is not navigation or route-finding, but endurance, rhythm, tactics and managing your own resources over 24 hours. Solo riders are classified separately for women and men and in the age groups up to 49, 50+ and 60+; the age reached in the respective calendar year is decisive. In the team classifications, men's, women's and mixed teams are distinguished. The first-placed riders and teams in each category will be honored once the results are confirmed. Current placings, lap counts and records are available on the website during and after the race.

Solo and teams

Solo

In the Solo category, one rider takes on the full 24 hours alone. Without rider changes, what counts is the ability to manage pace, breaks, nutrition and equipment intelligently throughout the race. On the race circuit, the challenge is to find a sustainable rhythm and stay focused through the night. A solo finish shows not only endurance, but also experience, self-management and mental strength.

2-person team

In the 2-person team category, two riders share the 24 hours and organize the race together from the paddock. The challenge lies in a clean changeover rhythm, clear communication and a smart distribution of effort across day and night. Whether with longer or shorter turns, consistency, trust and a shared plan are decisive. This category combines a high sporting standard with genuine teamwork.

4-person team

In the 4-person team category, there are more tactical options without losing the sporting character of the race. Four riders share the 24 hours, coordinate their efforts themselves and manage breaks, nutrition and equipment together in the paddock. This creates flexible changeover models and an intense interplay of pace, recovery and team spirit. This category thrives on good communication and a reliable overall flow.

8-person team

The 8-person team is the most team-oriented category of the event. Eight riders take turns over 24 hours, turning the race into a shared project of riding, support and atmosphere in the paddock. From a sporting perspective, it is not only the individual lap that counts, but above all a well-planned changeover rhythm and clean organization across the entire race duration. This category is particularly suitable for groups of friends, clubs and companies.

Classification

In all team categories, only one team member may be on the track at any one time. Rider changes, nutrition, repairs and rest periods take place in the paddock. Each category is classified by the number of fully completed laps within the official race time; if the lap count is equal, the better official riding time decides. This keeps the classification clear, fair and transparent across all categories.
