From the Bilster Berg paddock onto 4.2 kilometres of race track – 24h Bilster Berg is no ordinary 24-hour cycling race, but an endurance format on a strip of asphalt usually reserved for motorsport. 19 corners, 44 crests and dips, fast sections, hard braking points and constant changes of rhythm turn every lap into a challenge of its own. The Mausefalle in particular shows the true character of the circuit: with a gradient of up to 26 percent, the track drops into a tight corner before immediately rising again into the Steilwand with a climb of up to 21 percent. What is spectacular with an engine becomes pure physical effort on a road bike – lap after lap, hour after hour.
Over the course of 24 hours, this circuit changes again and again. By day, speed, racing line and courage matter; by night, concentration, light and fatigue become decisive. While every lap out on the track has to be earned anew, the race continues in the paddock: teams change riders, athletes rest, equipment is checked, food is handed out and lap standings are followed closely. Solo riders experience Bilster Berg as a personal endurance test, while teams take it on as a shared project of strategy, recovery and togetherness. Whoever reaches the finish after 24 hours has not only collected laps, but conquered an exclusive motorsport circuit without an engine – with endurance, tactics and passion on two wheels.

Next date
The final event date is expected to be announced in November 2026. Registration will open once the date is confirmed. The 24-hour bike race at Bilster Berg is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 17 to Sunday, July 18, 2027, or for Saturday, July 24 to Sunday, July 25, 2027. The exact date is still provisional, as the final international motorsport race calendars and the resulting track availability at Bilster Berg must first be awaited. Interested parties can already register on the waiting list and will be informed as soon as the date is confirmed and registration opens.
Briefing
About one week before the start, all registered participants receive the written briefing by email. This contains all relevant information about the event's procedure, safety aspects, and organizational notes. It also specifies the exact location and time frame for accreditation.
Entry Fee
The entry fee depends on the category and the date of registration: The amount is clearly visible and transparent before completing the registration.
Accreditation
Accreditation and collection of race materials take place on Friday evening and Saturday morning before the start. Each participant will receive their race number, a timing chip, and final organizational instructions. Personal signature on the registration documents on site is required for participation. Without completed accreditation, starting is not possible.
Nutrition
Basically, all participants and their support teams are responsible for their own catering during the race. You can bring your own food and organize it in the paddock or in the respective team area. Additionally, there is the option to purchase food and drinks through the catering service at Bilster Berg. The central point of contact is the TURN ONE restaurant on the upper floor of the East Loop terrace. The team there cooks fresh, regional, and seasonal dishes – straightforward, delicious, and fitting the special atmosphere of Bilster Berg. The floor-to-ceiling windows and the terrace offer a wide view of the paddock, pit lane, and track.
Finish
After the 24-hour period has ended, the final count of completed laps will be determined through the official timing system. Solo riders and teams in their respective categories will be ranked based on the number of fully completed laps. In the event of a tie in laps, the official timing according to the regulations will decide. All classified finishers will receive a certificate and a medal as a memento of their successful participation in the 24-hour race at Bilster Berg. The awards ceremony for the top finishers will take place after the evaluation is complete, once the results in the individual categories are finalized. Lap counts, results, and special achievements will be published on the website during and after the race.
